Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
The Journal of Advanced Managerial Psychology (JAMP) operates a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scholarly contribution of submitted manuscripts.
Initial Editorial Screening
All submitted manuscripts are first evaluated by the editorial office to determine whether they fall within the aims and scope of the journal and meet basic academic and formatting standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be rejected without external review.
Double-Blind Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant research area. In the double-blind review process, the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.
Review Criteria
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on several criteria, including:
• originality and contribution to the field
• theoretical and methodological rigor
• clarity of presentation
• relevance to the journal’s scope
Editorial Decision
Based on reviewers’ reports and the editor’s evaluation, the editorial office will make one of the following decisions:
• Accept
• Minor Revision
• Major Revision
• Reject
Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewers’ comments before a final decision is made.
The editorial team is responsible for ensuring that the peer review process is fair, objective, and conducted in a timely manner.
